John Frenkel FCA

John Frenkel qualified as a chartered accountant with one of the Big Four in 1978. He has always focused on forensic accountancy and is known for establishing Frenkel Topping in 1980 and Frenkels Forensics Chartered Accountants in 2001.

John’s name is synonymous with the Personal Injury and forensic accounting market, having been one of the pioneers in his field before the term ‘forensic accountant’ was even used.

He has worked on thousands of cases across a broad range of issues including Personal Injury, Commercial Disputes, Tax Investigations, Fraud Investigations and more.  He has given evidence in Court on numerous occasions.

He is an Accredited Forensic Accountant under the ICAEW’s scheme and a Member of the Academy of Experts.

John is a regular speaker at forensic accountancy seminars across the country and contributes to the professional press. He has co-authored a book on personal injury with two leading QCs.

John has appeared on Sky News, BBC Newsnight, Channel 4 and also in national newspapers offering his opinion on matters related to forensic accountancy.

As the Principal of Frenkels Forensics, John oversees all work that that the firm undertakes.  John is a founding partner and has been heavily involved in the development of Frenkels Calculator.
